Conclusions.

The winter season of 1999-2000 was not very active, since only 16 cold fronts arrived to the national territory, keeping in mind that the historical average of affectation to the occident of the country is of 19 fronts.

The lowest temperature registered in the period took place during the dawn of February 11, with 3,6 °C in the station of Bainoa.

This is the fifth occasion since the season of 1916-1917 that no cold front affects Cuba in the month of March.

The season was not very active as for the affectation of " south ", since only two events occurred, of an average of five.
